Temperatures are monitored by low voltage probes
wired to a receiver which is connected to your
network.
In this demonstration however we will be simulating
the temperature readings so that no
hardware is necessary!
Each sensor is customizable allowing for valid
temperature ranges. If a sensor reads a temperature
outside a given range it will go into alarm mode.
If a sensor enters alarm mode it can send a detailed warning
email or SMS text to users that are setup in the
settings page.
Getting notifications when refrigeration equipment
malfunctions helps avoid crisis. Preventing an entire frozen warehouse inventory from being damaged or lossed could save hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars!
The Dashboard displays your sensors and important
information. This is where you can add/edit/remove
sensors.
The History page displays historical data in a line
chart for a selected sensor. Seeing patterns in
temperature fluctuations can be very useful to
determine issues and prompt corrective action.
The settings page is where you enter your company
information and setup users for receiving alerts.
